Dr. Alaa Mansour is is an Ann Arbor foot and ankle surgeon with fellowship training who was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Mansour received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois and attended medical school at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine. His surgical residency was later completed at Beaumont Hospital, where he served as head resident. He then completed a residency at the Foot & Ankle Institute in Indianapolis in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Mansour has considerable training in treating complicated foot and ankle deformities, fractures, bunions, flat feet, and arthritis. He is intensely interested in new treatments, such as 3D-printed personalized implants for limb salvage and deformity correction. His practice focuses on ankle joint replacements. He recognizes that he is treating not only the feet but also the whole patient.
In addition, Dr. Mansour treats each patient holistically and considers it a great honor to assist patients in returning to their favorite pastimes. Dr. Mansour is bilingual in English and Arabic to serve more patients in his community. Dr. Mansour enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking, traveling, and seeing new cities when he is not working.
